Rutgers University New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is a multi-day experience that takes place prior to the start of classes in the fall and continues into the first week of classes with Scarlet Knight Days. The program will provide you with the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, student leaders, and other new students at Rutgers. Student volunteers help your transition while providing you with information and resources you will need as a Rutgers Student. Orientation will introduce you to the Rutgers Campuses, Academic Life, and Student Involvement.

New Student Convocation Information

Rally of the Knights: 5:00 pm
Formal Convocation: 7:30 pm
Scarlet Carnivàle: 8:30 pm

Convocation wil be held RAIN OR SHINE
