The International Student Orientation (ISO) program is a mandatory orientation for all F-1 and J-1 students at Rutgers. The ISO helps incoming international students adjust to life in the United States and at Rutgers. Highlights of the ISO includes learning how to maintain your legal status, course registration, obtain permission to work on campus,  daily fun social activities, shopping trips, trips to New York City and Philadelphia, and more! The 2018 International Student Orientation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 to Friday, August 31, 2018. For the latest updates and information for new international students and the International Student Orientation, visit the Rutgers Global- International Student and Scholar Services website.

For international students already in the U.S. or visiting the U.S. in the summer and looking to supplement their international orientation experience, we encourage you to attend an additional summer orientation with the New Student Orientation(NSO)! Contact orientation@echo.rutgers.edu if you would like more information and to sign up for an NSO session.

If you are not an F-1 or J-1 student but have been living abroad and would like to attend the International Student Orientation, please contact Lauren Tong at ltong@global.rutgers.edu
