PARENTS AND FAMILIES ARE PART OF THE RUTGERS COMMUNITY

Parents and families are a big part of any student’s success at any university and college. Knowing what a student is going through during college and what questions to ask (or in some cases not ask) are just some of the helpful pieces of advice that parents and families get at Rutgers Parent and Family Orientation.

Parents can sign up to attend one day Orientation Sessions on the same day as their students or one of our shortened evening orientation sessions. More info about these sessions and other ways for family members to get involved at Rutgers is available at parents.rutgers.edu.

Hundreds of parents join us each summer for Parent and Family Orientation. Below is just one example of what parents and families have to say about our program.

“The whole program was very helpful for my husband and I to know what to expect when our son attends Rutgers and how we can support him as parents.”
