Parent and Family Orientation
Sign-up for Parent and Family Orientation Summer 2022 is available here.
Parent and Family Orientation is an optional daylong program geared towards meeting the needs of our incoming students’ families. We strive to not only answer questions and provide guidance but to connect family members with key resources in our Rutgers community.
Presentations on housing, health and wellness, and campus safety are coupled with panels featuring current students. This information will familiarize you with university resources and help provide guidance on what your students will go through during their time as a Rutgers student.
Lastly, we will provide tips that we believe will help you be a partner alongside Rutgers in supporting your students’ academic and social success.
COVID-19 Protocol: Face coverings are required. ALL event attendees must provide proof of vaccination or negative PCR test from a test taken no more than 72 hours before the event when entering an event.
Lunch, refreshments, parking and promotional items are provided to guests of parent and family orientation.
Our orientation staff team will be available to assist with questions about the orientation experience and/or questions about your transition to Rutgers University. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com. Please note that the fastest way to reach our team is via email.
